RLA Students Conquer Raider Challenge

After a three-year break Robert land Academy and Massanutten Military Academy have once again been able to conduct the annual Best Raider competition. It is a grueling 36-hour event which tests the cadets’ mental and physical toughness as well as their ability to perform 33 different tasks in an austere environment while suffering from sleep deprivation.

What Does The RLA Alumni Committee Do?

The Alumni (Sub) Committee is a branch of the Out­reach Committee, with a similar mission and vision to the Family Guild. The main difference of course is that the Alumni Committee is comprised of “Old Boys” who attended the Academy for at least 1 year at some point since its inception.

Committed To Meeting Goals in Badminton

I have been attending Robert Land Academy for three months, and this year I had the privilege of joining the school’s badminton team for the first time. I was excited to try my hand at this competitive and skill-based sport. Fortunately, Robert Land Academy provided me with excellent badminton courts and a professional coach, coach Major Stock, who helped me improve my game.

A Day To Boast About The School

Along with a focus on academics and physical fitness, our students are involved in a lot of fun and exciting activities throughout the year. They take canoe trips on the Welland River; they climb and descend the new Rappel tower; and they learn coding and robot­ics. The students also have the opportunity to take part in some adven­ture activities, such as scuba-diving; skydiving; and the Bataan Memorial Death March.
