On Saturday, April 13, a group of A Coy students had the opportunity to discover scuba diving in a PADI Discover Scuba Session at the Kiwanis aquatic centre, taught by instructors from Dan’s Dive Shop in St. Catharines. Scuba diving is one of the adventure training opportunities for students in senior grades, who take several in class, in pool and then open water lessons. Saturday’s session gave younger students an opportunity to experience what the senior scuba club is like.
