On Tuesday, March 28, the Silver Star Cadets of RLA's RCAC Cadet Corps (third year cadets) got some basic instruction in canoeing. When practicing on the back pond four canoes capsized and nine boys needed to warm up in the showers.

Over the March Break 2023, a small group of RLA staff along with Nicholas Thompson and Stephan Paterson travelled to New Mexico to take part in the Bataan Memorial Death March.
For the ten students currently visiting France for a trip researching into Canada’s contributions to both World War 1 and World War 2, Tuesday, March 14, and Wednesday, March 15, were days of discovery surrounding some of the actions of Canadian soldiers during the second World War.
It was the first day of an educational experience Sunday, March 12, 2023, for the students taking part in the March Break trip to France as they explored areas in and around Arras France related to the Battle of Arras from WW1.

This week our own Executive Chef, Captain Ness, was honoured to participate as a judge in the District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) Technological Skills Challenge. Held at Niagara College Niagara-on-the-Lake campus 10 aspiring chefs from the secondary schools across Niagara Region were challenged to produce a full meal within a specified amount of time.
