Preparing For Success In The Classroom & Beyond

Message from the Headmaster

P.D. (Pete) Stock, BSc, MSc, MA.: Acting Headmaster – As we approach the end of the school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the importance of preparation. At our private military school, we understand that preparation is essential for success, both in the classroom and on the battlefield. That is why we make it a priority to instill in our students the values of communication, teamwork, listening skills, and setting a clear vision for success.

Effective communication is the cornerstone of any successful team, whether it be in the classroom or out in the field. Our students learn to communicate clearly and concisely, making sure that their messages are received and understood by everyone involved. They also learn to listen carefully to their teammates, taking into account their perspectives and ideas.

Teamwork is another key component of success. Our students learn to work together to achieve their goals, relying on each other’s strengths and supporting each other’s weaknesses. They also learn to trust each other, knowing that everyone has their back in any situation.

Listening skills are also crucial. Our students learn to listen actively and attentively, ensuring that they understand what is being said and that they are able to respond appropriately. They also learn to be patient, waiting for their turn to speak and not interrupting others.

Finally, setting a clear vision for success is essential. Our students learn to set goals for themselves and to work hard to achieve them. They also learn to be adaptable, adjusting their goals and strategies as needed to meet changing circumstances.

We have several special events coming up that showcase our students’ preparation and dedication. The annual inspection parade, where our students showcase our program, and their marching and drill skills, will be held on May 13th. The RCAC annual review, where our students showcase their experiences with the Cadets, will take place on June 3rd. The RLA Gala, celebrating future success of the Academy on June 10th. And finally, our end-of-year ceremony, where we celebrate the achievements of our graduating Juniors and seniors, will be held on June 24th.

I am incredibly proud of our students and the hard work and dedication they have put into their education and training. As we look to the future, I am confident that their preparation and commitment to excellence will serve them well in all their endeavors.
