Cross Country Results: Gryphon Invitational (5 Km)

On Wednesday September 28^th three students on the cross-country team headed out for the Gryphon Invitational meet that took place at Christie Lake in Dundas. The weather started off chilly with intermittent bursts of rain. The boys warmed up, stretched and were ready to go, despite the unfortunate weather. Luckily for us, the sun came out minutes before the race started, and they were able to run in what seemed like perfect weather conditions. Overall, there were 209 senior boys registered for the run. 163 of them participated, and our boys landed in the following places with the following times.

Barry scored a personal best in his 5k time. Petit was just shy of his time at the last meet, and Assams improved his time by approximately half a minute in comparison to the last meet. Overall, we are very proud of the boys and what they have accomplished. Another great practice race to prepare us for zone in mid October! Go Loyalists!
