James Paterson, Alumni Committee Chair – The Alumni Association and staff of RLA are inviting alumni to Homecoming Weekend, May 26, 26 and 28. 2023.

The weekend is an opportunity to engage Old Boys both in connecting with other Alumni as well as current school events and students. The Homecoming weekend will feature a sporting tournament involving alumni, students and staff, as well as school tours and visit to the Quartermaster, rappelling, rock climbing, tug of war, campfire, and many opportunities to enjoy a meal together and catch up.

Robert Land Academy and the RLA Alumni Association are working to improve the school’s connection to our alumni and foster a strong community of past students who take part in school events, speak to current students, and contribute to the school’s success.

To recognize this connection, we are planning to bury a time capsule during Homecoming.

Current students will be asked to write a letter to their future selves and it is out hope they will be on hand at some future date to dig up the time capsule and their letters.

We are also asking alumni to contribute letters either to the RLA student they once were or to their future selves, reflecting on how RLA has impacted your lives.

In addition, if you are willing to part with RLA memorabilia, we would appreciate being able to include some items in the time capsule as well.
