On Saturday, May 13, the Academy hosted the Annual Inspection and Open House. This event is an opportunity for the students to show what they’ve been doing all year, demonstrate new skills learned and brag about their successes.

Since we haven’t been able to host a proper Open House since 2019 due to COVID, the school decided to go big this year with opportunities for visitors to truly experience everything the school has to offer.

The day was a big success, supported by beautiful weather, with many parents and family of students here, friends and family of staff, and members of our community.

During the open house we took the opportunity to officially open the new science lab. Building a new, state-of-the-art science lab was our signature fundraising project last year. Thanks to families and alumni, staff and supporters of the school we raised $100,000 to complete the new science lab. Thanks also to our maintenance team who took on much of the demolition and construction of the room in preparation for new HVAC, cabinets and plumbing.
