The 2968 RCAC First Canadian Parachute Battalion cadets have been participating in field training scenarios involving survival and emergencies these past couple of weeks.
They practiced building an emergency shelter using only a tarp and rope and splinting with limited supplies in the field for someone who has broken their ankle. They also practised carrying a casualty from the bush to an extraction point.
The cadets of this corps are students of Robert Land Academy, the cadet program is a part of the program at RLA.
