On Wednesday, May 29, the Loyalist soccer team travelled to the Welland Young Sportsplex to face the Franco-Niagara Lions in the NRHSAA Zone Three Tier Two Championship game. With the soccer team having lost in the finals for the past two years, the team was looking to take the final step and claim the championship.
On Wednesday and Thursday, May 22-23, seven Robert Land Academy students attended the Southern Ontario Secondary School Association (SOSSA) Track and Field Championships to compete with the best high school athletes in Southern Ontario. Winners from the SOSSA championships move on to the Ontario Federation of Secondary School Athletics (OFSAA) regional championships.
On Wednesday, May 8,2024, ten adventurous boys braved the cold waters of the Welland Canal to practise canoe over canoe rescues in the event that on upcoming canoe trips they capsize their boats.
