Father Son Day

All of us at the Academy are looking forward to Father/Son Day on Saturday January 20th.  Please plan to arrive at 1130 hrs. Just a reminder that you will be outside for a good portion of the day and, as such, you should dress accordingly with appropriate footwear and a warm coat, toque, and gloves.

Parking has been designated beside Ritchie Hall (our administration building) or beside McGovern Hall (across from our administration building).

We ask that you observe the following:

1.       There is no smoking permitted on campus.

2.       Cell phones should be left in your vehicle.  Under no circumstances is your son allowed to use your cell phone.

3.       With the exception of those assigned parking duty, the parking lots (and cars) are out of bounds for all students.

4.       There is no walking on the parade square.

5.       Do not bring food, candy, gifts, or items which could result in your son being disciplined for possession of contraband; boys may have allergies to any outside items brought on campus.

The day concludes with dinner and awards in Landholme Hall. We anticipate that you will depart the campus around 1800 hrs.

There will be no identification, health cards, civilian contraband, hygiene kits, overnight bags available at sign-out.  If out of town, please ensure you bring your son’s clothing and toiletry items with you.

Please advise if you require identification to cross the border.

Don’t forget your funky hat and sense of humour.  Please reply to Lisa Aulph’s email if you will be attending and if you will be taking your son for an overnight stay away from the Academy. We look forward to seeing you all and hope that you will enjoy this day with your son!
